Headshot nature (1)
My name is Mireya (pronounced "mer-RAY-uh"), and I would describe my therapy style as warm, human, and uplifting. I believe the most important part of therapy is the relationship we build together. I’m here to meet you where you are and create a healing process that is personal and actually helps you move toward your goals.

I have experience working with children, teens, and adults, and I truly value the unique perspective each stage of life brings. I’ve supported clients through behavioral challenges, anger, OCD, anxiety, personality patterns, and major life transitions. My approach is always tailored to you, with a focus on understanding your experiences and helping you build tools that feel realistic and empowering in your day-to-day life.

I offer a space that is free from judgment and rigid expectations—one where you can show up as you are. My therapy room reflects that: warm lighting, cozy blankets, and conversation that is open and real. I bring a positive and supportive presence, while also being gently direct when needed, so you can stay aligned with the goals you’ve set for yourself.

Therapy is a chance to explore your life with clarity and support, and to make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.

If I sound like the right therapist for you, here’s what you can expect:

I’ll encourage you to speak openly and let me know if something we’re doing isn’t helpful, your feedback matters.

I respect you as the expert of your own life. My role is to help you see options, navigate challenges, and move toward what you want.

I create a welcoming, non-sterile environment. My style is collaborative and engaged, not distant or robotic. If you’re ready for something to shift, I’m here to help you take that next step.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy time with friends, exploring local restaurants with my husband, and family is very important to me so I like to take time to go and visit my family back in California! I also like to unwind with video games and neighborhood walks. I have three Maine Coon cats: Gandalf, Willow, and Hagrid. And, yes, I am a fan of fantasy movies.
