The roots of healing grow in trust; and I have found that trust is one of the main areas where true healing begins—where real change takes place.  Not only is it learning to trust in healthy others, but to be able to trust in yourself. Clients have shared with me that I create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported, which helps trust grow naturally. I’m passionate about helping people return to, or discover for the first time, a sense of self-trust and belonging through the work we get to do together.

I feel fortunate to be a therapist and deeply honor the journeys of the clients who’ve trusted me with their stories. I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of personal challenges. I’m a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, parts work, trauma-focused CBT, and Polyvagal theory, and I use these approaches to support healing from depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, social anxiety, and life transitions. But no matter the approach, I always come back to trust—its many layers, how it’s lost, found, honored, or shattered. Rebuilding trust creates the safety clients need to take bold steps, speak hard truths, revisit painful memories, or let go of relationships that no longer serve them.

Trust also makes people feel seen, cared for, and believed. One quote that guides my practice is: “When someone shows you who they are for the first time, believe them.” – Maya Angelou. In therapy, you’ll learn to sit with discomfort in service of your own healing—developing insight, resilience, and self-compassion. Together, we’ll take intentional steps to help you transform fears and hardships into personal growth.

Self-compassion, safety, and trust are the core values of my clinical work. While I value my training, my greatest teachers are the clients who show me every day how essential trust is to healing.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, hiking, reading, biking, and walking or running with my dog. I find joy in life’s simple moments and feel grateful to be in a profession where I get to connect deeply and meaningfully with others. I look forward to learning what trust and healing look like for you.
